Henrik Sunekær has been sailing in Danish as well as foreign waters since he was young. Henrik has been sailing on the sea around Mallorca for more than 25 years. He has been teaching both practial sailing, navigation and Yacthmaster of 3rd degree at evening schools, sailing clubs, Københavs Sejlerskole and now at DISS.

Furthermore, Henrik is an authorized censor of sailing, navigation, speedboat, water scooter and Yachtmaster of the 3rd and of the 1st degree of The Danish Sailing Association as well as Danish Yacht Union (DYU).

Henrik graduated as Master of Law and has been Head of Unit at The Defence Command as well as at The Royal Danish Defence College. Further to this Henrik has worked as a legal advisor to the Danish Navy participating in more anti pirate missions.

Lars Jonasson – colloquially called Jonas – got his first boat, and optimist dinghy, for his 6th birthday. Jonas has been sailing ever since in many different dinghy classes, including competitive racing, keelboats, motorboats and powerboats.

He has been teaching sailing and navigation since 1982 at sailing clubs, youth and evening schools, at Københavns Sejlerskole and now at DISS.

Jonas also teaches motor operation as well as diving, why he also has his sailing experience from more areas in the Mediterranian Sea – especially around Mallorca, the Red Sea and outside Florida.

Jonas is a trained teacher, criminologist and psychotherapist. He works on a daily basis with preventional efforts in schools with children, young people as well as families in vunerable positions. Previously, he has been skipper on a project ship for children and young people.
