Course
A one week course costs DKK 11,500 This includes your sailing lessons, teaching materials, bed linen, boat hire, and the end of course cleaning/inspection of the boat.
The fee is payable as follows: At registration: DKK 6,000 – and approximately one month before departure, the last DKK 5,500 should be paid.
Ship’s kitty
Each participant pays In Cash, the equivalent of DKK 950, in Euros – to the ship’s kitty. This covers port fees, fuel and provisions on board the boat. Drinks, Bars, and restaurant visits are at your own expense. (Unless the crew has made an alternative agreement).
Tests /examination
One or two weeks after your return home, we will arrange a theoretical and practical test in Copenhagen for The certificate of proficiency in yachting (Duelighedsbevis i sejlads for fritidssejlere). There is an examination charge of approximately DKK 900, should you wish to obtain a certification.
Other expenses
You will need to purchase / book your travel / flights to Palma de Mallorca yourself.
We recommend that you wait until we have confirmed that the course is fully booked and participants have paid before you purchase / book your travel / flights.
Finally, there is a taxi ride between the airport and the port (about € 25, – each way). We would suggest that participants share a taxi where possible.
